Membership
Membership opportunities, Registration, Meetings, etc.
Membership
Membership is open to everyone 18 and older.
Membership allows members to attend the regular meetings and, where available, attend classes and workshops at a discount. Use of the guild’s tools while at the meetings is included.
All new members will participate in an orientation session. These sessions will normally be held in the beginning of each month. This will familiarize members with the rules and safety regulations as well as providing an assessment of the member’s skill level.
Meetings
(October, 2026)
We are still in the process of organizing, so we don’t yet have regular scheduled meetings. Keep an eye on this page for updates on our schedule!
With a regular schedule, holidays and other events alter our meetings, so be sure to check this website for updates. When possible, any schedule changes will be sent to members via email ahead of time.
Normal meetings will include short sessions where guild announcements are discussed (and any other pertinent business) and then open work sessions where members may engage in group projects or their own efforts.
Meetings for specific purposes (projects, classes, community outreach, etc.) will be announced.
Dues
(October, 2026) Membership details will be posted here shortly.
We encourage you to attend a meeting to see if it’s right for you first.
Membership Roles
Members may fill certain roles in the guild, including being a mentor, being a class instructor, working on tool maintenance, and other functions. These roles will require additional training and certifications, as laid out in our operating guide.
Members are expected to share the resources of the guild respectfully. When there is a bottleneck with resources or tools, members are encouraged to view these as opportunities to learn something new, mentor another member, or socialize with their fellow craftspersons.
Registration
(October, 2026)
This will be the spot to register on-line.
